Any violation of article 43 of the Civil Aviation Law will be subject to no more than five years of imprisonment, detention or a fine of NT$150,000. If the violation leads to death of others, offenders will be sentenced to life imprisonment or no less than 7 years. If it leads to a severe injury of others, sentencing will be 3 to 10 years imprisonment.
